Attention 3-2 Students!
If you are planning to graduate this semester from your undergraduate degree portion of the
Anderson 3-2 Program and have not notified the Advising Office, please do so as soon as possible.
Upon completion of your undergraduate degree, you are considered a NEW STUDENT and will not be able to register for any further UNM or Anderson classes until your student status has been changed from undergraduate to graduate level.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any attempts to register for classes before your student level change has been processed will delay your registration for up to three weeks.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the 3-2 Program requirements.
This Summer 2008 course will satisfy the MGMT 526 finance requirement for the MACC (Professional Concentration) for students who were admitted in Fall 2007 when the MGMT 526 requirement was added to the new lockstep program. Since we usually only admit in the Fall, it shouldn't be an issue for others.
Graduate students admitted into the Master of Accounting Program, Professional Concentration, in Fall 2007 (this does not affect students admitted prior to Fall 2007) may take MGMT 594, Special Topics class entitled "Business and Finance Concepts for Accountants." This course will satisfy the MGMT 526 degree requirement. The prerequisite for this course is MGMT 540.
Master of Accounting students pursuing the advanced or tax concentrations may take this course as an elective keeping in mind the coursework guidelines for your respective concentrations.
This course will be offered in the first 4 weeks in the Summer 2008 session from 8:00 am - 10:30 am.
MBA students should check with their faculty concentration advisor to see if this course may be taken as an elective within their respective concentrations.
Accounting students, if you have any questions, please consult with your concentration advisor, Dr. Alistair Preston (MACC, Professional Concentration), Dr. Joni Young (accounting graduate programs) or Dr.Craig White (MACC, Tax concentration), or please visit with the graduate program advisor, Mary Berger.
